However, it takes a strong Christian to put their grind behind their prayers and dreams. God doesn’t work unless the person does. I wanted to share with you bible verses from the King James Version of the Holy Bible that is about asking, believing, and receiving. I hope you dig deep into each bible verse in this blog post.
Matthew 1:18 KJV
“A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a
corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.”
Philippians 4:6-7 KJV
“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and
supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And
the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and
minds through Christ Jesus.”
James 4:2-3 KJV
“Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and
cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. Ye ask,
and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume [it] upon your
lusts.”
John 14:12-14 KJV
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me,
the works that I do shall he do also; and greater [works] than these shall he
do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that
will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any
thing in my name, I will do [it].”
Matthew 21:21-22 KJV
“Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you,
If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this [which is done] to
the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and
be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. And all things, whatsoever ye
shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.”
Job 22:28 KJV
“Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be
established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.”
Mark 11:23-24 KJV
“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto
this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not
doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall
come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What
things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive [them], and ye
shall have [them].”
Mark 9:23 KJV
“Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things
are possible to him that believeth.”
Mark 11:24 KJV
“Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire,
when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”
1 John 5:14-15 KJV
“And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if
we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he
hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired
of him.”
Hebrews 11:1 KJV
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the
evidence of things not seen.”
James 1:5-8 KJV
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth
to all [men] liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let
him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the
sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall
receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man [is] unstable in all his
ways.
Ecclesiastes 5:18-20 KJV
Behold [that] which I have seen: [it is] good and comely
[for one] to eat and to drink, and to enjoy the good of all his labour that he
taketh under the sun all the days of his life, which God giveth him: for it
[is] his portion. Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and
hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in
his labour; this [is] the gift of God. For he shall not much remember the days
of his life; because God answereth [him] in the joy of his heart.
James 1:17 KJV
"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from
above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness,
neither shadow of turning.”
