What To Do When You Are Frustrated With God?

in , by Linda B Hurd, March 06, 2019
I contemplated writing this blog post and making it public before praying to God. I kept feeling as if my frustration with God should not be made known. I am not worthy to feel so insignificant as a Christian and with my walk with Christ. Believe that I have no control over anything in my life.

I keep a Happy Planner and plan my life weekly and still, life had left me feeling unfulfilled. I know deep within my spirit that I am not the only Christian who has and have been frustrated with God. I do not have all the answers. I continue to rest in God’s grace to continue to seek his favor.

Here are a few things you can start doing to not let your frustration get the best of you.
  • Let go of the thought that you have control over your life. Just because you keep planning out your short and long term goals understand that God’s timing is not our own.
  • Cling and refer to your bible. Write down your frustrations and do not hold back your pain as your vent.
  •   Understand that God does not owe you anything. He is not some sort of genie that you give commands to. God’s blessings overflow in your life whenever you do your part. You must be willing to seek him and live a life that is pleasing to his sight.

I even want to give you these Bible verses to study when you are under any frustration in life.

Galatians 6:9
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Matthew 11:28-29
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest upon your souls.

Philippians 4:7
And peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for the good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.

Exodus 14:14
The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
