Have you ever started to question your
faith in God when times had gotten tough?
I can for sure testify to that. There
were many times in my life that I questioned the purpose of my faith in God. I
felt alone and belittled by my trials and tribulations. I honestly did not want
to go through with facing the storms within my life.
It is by God’s tender mercy and his favor
that he had upon my life that I did not lose my faith in him. Of course, I had to
fight the good fight of faith and trust in him to make a way. His presence
washed over my soul and renewed my way of thinking.
During those moments, I had
to praise him through the bad and the good. I had to thank him in advance for
what he was doing, what he was getting ready to do, and for everything that he
had already done for me.
Here are four things to remember when
your faith has been shaken.
God has so much mercy and favor washed
over your soul! You are never in any trail or tribulation in life alone. God is
always seeing you through even before you pray! What I love that God does not
wait for us to say to him to “move” he is always moving, but it takes for us to
just stop trying to remove our very own obstacles.
For it reads in
Exodus 14:14
The LORD shall fight for you, and ye
shall hold your peace.
The Lord will see you through your
trails and tribulations, just step to the side and let him work.
Telling God “thank you” is another way
of praising him. Allowing God to receive the praise through your storm will
help you move through the storm with less stress. After you have prayed and
cried all you need to do is just give that reassurance to him.
It may sound
crazy to some folks, but you are truly giving all the glory to God for your
break through! Put a
praise on your blessing that is on the way.
3. God’s timing is always prefect.
It may feel like you are constantly
facing issues back and forth. Or you may want to know when will it be your turn
to have a break through blessing. I know exactly how you could be feeling, the
thought that God is just passing you up and blessing everyone you see on social
media or even in your real life.
Trust and know that eyes
have not seen and ears have not heard all that God has planned for you. His timing
is always perfect and right on time!
4. The God that we serve is intentional.
There is a song that inspired this
reason and of course I had to link in above. I wanted to just let you know that
despite whatever you are going through that our God is never failing. He will
not let you down. There is a reason you are going through what you are going through.
It also reads in:
Romans 8:28 KJV
And we know that all things work together for
good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
